Ben Kolak is a documentary filmmaker based in Chicago, with ten years of experience as a director, cinematographer, editor, producer, and educator. Ben’s company, Scrappers Film Group, creates original content for outlets including PBS Digital Studios, Truthout.org, Al-Jazeera, and The A.V. Club.
Ali Greatsinger is a Boston-based health researcher whose work has focused on health disparities, preventative health, and food insecurity. She is currently a senior editor at Global HealthCare Insights, an online magazine dedicated to covering hospitals and healthcare systems around the world. Previously, she served as an AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteer in Service to America) in Roanoke, Virginia, where she supported anti-hunger programs throughout the Appalachian region. Ali graduated from the University of Chicago in 2014 with a degree in Biological Sciences and a high tolerance for cold weather.
Gosia Łabno is a digital media specialist who is part of the communications team at the Energy Policy Institute at the University of Chicago. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Media and Cinema Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Arts in Middle Eastern Studies from UChicago.
